Pamber Priory dates back to 1128AD.  The buildings and land are owned by Queens College, Oxford and they are responsible for the upkeep.

The church building, re-consecrated in 1474, has a rich history including its role during the Reformation and patronage by The Queen’s College in Oxford since its inception.
