St James' Way Pilgrims

Pamber Priory and All Saints' Monk Sherborne are both located on the St James' Way Pilgrimage route which marks the authentic first leg of the Camino de Santiago.

The route begins at the majestic ruins of Reading Abbey and finishes in Southampton, a port from which pilgrims would have embarked on their onward journey to Santiago (Sant Iago = Saint James).
